Facilities

The Preschool is housed in a beautiful new facility built in 1996. This building is a testimonial to the church’s commitment to children. From the bright, airy entrance to the low windows, child-sized restrooms and low shelves, every aspect of the building was designed with a child’s needs in mind.

  • Classrooms - Each classroom is designed with the needs of the children who use it. Low shelves with age appropriate toys, centers for exploring, and books for sharing.
  • Playground - Children love to be outside and the recently renovated playground features a very popular tricycle track, swings, slides, climbing equipment, sand and digging toys. Everything a young body needs to safely and cautiously learn to stretch and challenge growing muscles.
  • Music Room - The music and movement program is one of The Preschool’s most valuable enrichment programs. Children respond in a special way to rhythm, movement and the lyrics of music. At The Preschool music is incorporated every day whether in classroom, or in weekly or biweekly visits to the Music Room.
  • Media Center - Each week three, four and five year olds visit the Media Center to hear and see many of the best books and audiovisual resources available. Beginning with our toddlers, all children are read to daily because The Preschool believes in its importance in developing young minds.
