The Preschool adheres to strict standards of class size and management. Class size is determined by the age of the children enrolled, from ten children in our youngest classes to a maximum of 18 children in pre-kindergarten and our 5/6 program with two teachers in every class. Our youngest students are enrolled in the Older Toddler Program, while those two years old and above participate in Early Childhood Division.

Teachers

Our faculty is truly the strength of the preschool. The Preschool's teachers are qualified, loving and dedicated to providing our children with an environment for learning and developing. Two full-time teachers head all classes with an experienced teacher taking the lead role.

Classes

Programs are available for children turning one year old by September 1 through a developmental kindergarten program. Classes run from 9:00 a.m. through 12:15 p.m.

Children grow in their independence from their parents as they age and mature. To foster a sense of security, our children spend more days in school as they grow in independence. Our classes are scheduled as follows:

• Toddlers ages twelve months through 23 months attend 2 days per week
• 2 year-olds 2 days a week
• 3 year-olds 2 or 3 days a week
• 4 year-olds 3 days a week or for Pre-kindergarten 5 days a week
• 5/6 year-olds 5 days a week and adding two extended days starting in October
