About Our School

Welcome to The Preschool at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, where every day is an adventure in learning and exploring, growing and becoming for almost 400 young children. The purpose of the school is to strive to offer the community a program which encompasses the highest standards in early childhood education within a Christian environment of love and support.

The school is an outreach ministry of the church and is housed in a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for the special needs of preschoolers. The quality of our program has been validated since 1991, when it was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

The National Association for the Education of Young Children is the most widely regarded national accreditation system for recognized high quality early childhood programs. Accreditation requires undergoing a comprehensive process of internal review and external audit to assure the program is in compliance with the Academy’s Criteria for High Quality Early Childhood Programs.
